The public of Pfutsero Administrative
division and surrounding areas having keenly felt the need of imparting higher education
from its own locality established Pfutsero College at Pfutsero in the year 1982 so as to
provide universal education for the betterment of physical, intellectual and spiritual
development of the individual, geared towards an efficient rural life.
Formal
announcement for the taking over took place on
20th June,2009 by Dr.Shurhozelie Liezietsu, Hon’ble Minister for Higher
& Technical Education, Nagaland with effect from 01.04.2009.
The College offers honours courses in
English, History & Tenyidie.
