Celebration of “Hindi Fortnight 2020” at NIC Nagaland from 14th Sept – 28th Sept, 2020
NIC Nagaland participated in the “Hindi Fortnight 2020” celebration with great fervour and enthusiasm to promote Hindi as official language as part of Government Policy. In Nagaland, this year “Hindi Fortnight 2020 “ was organised by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Kohima from 14th Sept – 28th Sept, 2020 for all Central Government offices, Nationalized Banks, Public Sector Undertakings and Para Military .With COVID19 disrupting our normal life, this year “Hindi Fortnight 2020” was Celebrated virtually unlike other years. Both inauguration and closing ceremony for Hindi Fortnight was held through online mode using Microsoft Team and all the competition were also held online using Whatsapp.
In all, there were 14 events for each category i.e hindi and non-hindi speaking group and NIC officials actively participated in the competitions. All the competition were held through online mode using Whatsapp by creating a group “Hindi Fortnight 2020″by TOLIC,Kohima.
