Hindi Pakhwada 2026

National Informatics Centre (NIC), Nagaland State Centre, observed Hindi Pakhwada 2026 from 14th September 2026 to 28th September 2026, in coordination with the NIC District Centres through Video Conferencing (VC). The program was organized with the objective of promoting the use of Hindi as the Official Language and creating greater awareness and participation among NIC officers and staff in the implementation of the Official Language Policy. The Hindi Pakhwada commenced with the celebration of Hindi Diwas on 14th September 2026. The program included a Welcome Address by Shri Devender Singh, Scientist B followed by a brief introduction on the implementation of Official Language Hindi by Shri I. Lanusungkum Aier, State Informatics Officer, NIC Nagaland State Centre and Chairman, OLIC. The Hindi Handwriting Competition was organized on 16th September 2026, while three competitions—Hindi Poem Reading, Hindi Storytelling, and Hindi Singing—were organized on 19th September 2026. The program on 19th September (Saturday) commenced with the Welcome Address by Shri J.G. Lorin Rengma, Scientist F & ASIO District followed by the participation of the officers in the various competitions. Shri Prakash Pradhan, Hindi Teacher, SCERT, Nagaland attended the program as the External Evaluator and evaluated the participants. The program concluded with Closing Remarks by Shri Kemvu Elah, Scientist F & Addl SIO (State). The Closing Function of Hindi Pakhwada 2026 was organised on 28th September 2026. The program included a welcome address and announcement of competition results. The closing remarks were delivered by the State Informatics Officer, NIC Nagaland State Centre.
