Zisaji Presidency College, Kiphire was
established in the year 1997. The founder of the College is Shri R.L.Akamba, former M.L.A who
laid the foundation of the College along with the helping hands of Shri Mesen,Shri
Tsuknung Sangtam,Dr.S.P.Panda, Shri C.Kipili,Shri Torechu,Shri Tsitongese,Shri T.Sao
Sangtam,Shri R.Kihoto,Shri K.V.John, Shri Thingchum and Shri J.Sebastian. Zisaji Presidency
College is the paragon of Higher Education in this infant district. It has been founded to
cater to the need of the time.
The College was
affiliated to Nagaland University on 1st July 1997.
From 01.02.2006, the College was taken over by the
Government of Nagaland.
The College offers Honours courses in Political Science and History.
