There are 2 (two) branches in the Planning & Co-ordination Department dealing with the following subjects :-

(I) PLANNING BRANCH.

(a) Planning and Formulation of Development programmes and their execution.

(b) Evaluation and Monitoring of the implementation of Plan Programmes.

(d) District Planning Machinery and

(e) Co-ordination of the implementation of the schemes under Special Development Programme,

Centrally Sponsored Schemes, NEC Programmes, Non-Lapsable Central Pool of

Resources, 20 Point Programmes and Geographical Information Systems.

(II) GENERAL BRANCH.

Deals with Administrative matters relating to:-

(a) Urban Development Department including Development Authority of Nagaland.

(b) Economics and Statistics Department

(III) EXISTING STAFF STRENGTH.
